It
was a good story, but it reminded me a little of "Village of the
Damned" (the original 1960-ish film) and Stephen King's "Firestarter".
Also, the characters and narrative repeat themselves a lot. The writer
needs to know that not every dialog must end with an exclamation point.
The parents were so clueless for so long, that I wondered how they
became wealthy. If it took place in New York, why weren't any landmarks
mentioned?

and the family who takes her into their home find out that she has
special powers to move objects with her mind.Now,this subject has been
done before and so if you're looking for something different,this ain't
it,but it is a gripping,exciting novel for lovers of horror and sci-fi
everywhere

read the sample and Ithought that it had odd conversations that
nobodywhat ever say, I felt like it could have been written in crayons
and given a second grade reading level.
